As the cold weather began to hit last week, we’ve decided to suspend aerial classes at Swift Movement Studio for the winter months (Jan-March).
On the bright side – Westside Academy of Gymnastics is allowing us to host a few classes there throughout the winter! (Thank you WAG!!)
We plan to finish out the fall schedule at Swift through the end of December, and resume with a full schedule of classes at Swift on April 1st. Please be on the lookout for our winter schedule to be posted later this week!
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and hope to see you all practicing your skills with us at WAG this winter.
Six years ago, Samantha gained her first introduction to aerials in an attempt to find a cross training outlet from competitive horse back riding, and from her first touch of an apparatus never looked back. Since then she has explored her own creativity of movement through different apparatuses, solo floor movement, as well as partner dance and acrobatics.
Samantha was a Pole, fitness, and flexibility instructor at Defiance Studio for 4 years taking students all the way to competition and professional performances. She’s studied multiple dance styles from ballroom, argentine tango, swing, blues, zouk and more. In June she became a certified and licensed Floor Flow® instructor, a floor movement style developed by Marlo Fisken taking inspiration from modern dance, primal movement, break dance, and martial arts.
The challenge and freedom afforded by aerial arts has given Samantha the opportunity to express herself in ways unlike anything else in life. Samantha thrives to share and assist others to find that same freedom!
We couldn’t be more excited to have Samantha join our team of instructors/performers. Her energy, joy and love of movement is contagious! Be on the look out for her workshops beginning in the New Year.
“ Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your Soul on Fire!” – Samantha Hancock

This Thanksgiving we are counting our blessings as we welcome aerial instructor Holly Price to the Elevated Aerials team!!

She is thrilled to become part of the Elevated Aerials family and we couldn’t be happier to have her on board!
“This path has led me to a variety of disciplines, but the human body has remained the focus of my exploration. The Contemporary Dance Theater has fed my soul for many wonderful years. I have proficiencies in formal forms of dance, modern dance, and studied the Dunham technique for 5 years with Terri Brown at CDT. I also study and perform improve dance to explore movement, unusual spaces or objects spanning varied physical mediums. About 13 years ago, my love for climbing lead me to start receiving formal training in aerial ballet.” – Holly Price
