Welcoming Aaron Koz to EA!!

We’re excited to announce that Aaron Koz will be teaching workshops and privates at Elevated Aerials this fall!!
Aaron Koz is a traveling movement and circus coach and co-author of The Aerial Spinning Reference Guide. He completed his undergrad in neuroscience, and is a certified Born to Fly provider.
Moving from Washington, D.C. to NYC, he started at Circus Warehouse’s intensive program, and since has studied under elite coaches in SF, Montreal, and Mexico. He draws from his background in neuroscience to augment his work as a coach and personal trainer and collaborates heavily with physical therapists to help augment and structure his teaching offerings. He has performed and taught internationally in places like Ireland (Irish Aerial Dance Festival) and Saudi Arabia. Aaron currently works part-time as Physical Therapy Technician for ACRO Physical Therapy with Angie Prescott, DPT, CSCS (co-author of The Aerial Spinning Reference Guide), and teaches regular classes/lessons in the DC area.
He recently completed Alex Allan’s Dynamic Rope Teacher Training and Yoga405’s Rocket Yoga 50 hour teacher training.

Jenn Bruyer returns to EA this summer!!

Yes please!!! You know we all love Jenn Bruyer and her creative inspiring being. So, let’s all give her a warm welcome back to Elevated Aerials this summer!
Her objective?
“As an Aerial Coach, I seek to provide the highest quality progressive instruction to aerialists of all abilities from novice to professional performer. My mission as a human is to cultivate a warm, non-judgmental learning environment that fosters community, build personal physical and emotional strength within the individuals who participate in this environment and methodically construct a vehicle by which to create art.”

Waverly Jones coming to EA!!

Waverly Jones is a versatile aerial artist who specializes in several apparatuses including aerial fabrics, aerial hoop, duo aerial arts, Spanish web, and pole arts. In January of 2011, Waverly became a professional company member of Asheville Aerial Arts, and since then has performed at countless festivals, gala events, fund raisers, carnivals, corporate events, weddings, concerts, and private parties. Waverly continuously pursues education by traveling to schools and studios around the world to learn as much as possible with high level athletes in her fields of expertise. As of July 2015, Waverly is honored to co-own Empyrean Arts, Asheville’s first and only certified pole and aerial studio with her aerial partner and dear friend, Heather Poole. She has completed an instructor certification in pole dance and fitness from Dakota Fox’s Aradia Fitness USA, and recently teamed up with her studio partner, Heather, to create Aerial Silks and Lyra teacher training programs for Aradia Fitness. Waverly deeply enjoys connecting with others through performance and instruction of aerial and pole arts.

We’re so excited to have Waverly back at Elevated Aerials this spring!! She is a beast on the fabric & lyra and we know she’s got some killer moves to share with you all!
